I recently revisited The Hussar Grill in Century City, a long-time favorite of mine, and I’m pleased to say it continues to impress. Despite visiting on a Monday evening, the restaurant was bustling — a clear indication of its enduring popularity, likely even busier on weekends. I ordered the rump steak with marrow bone, accompanied by an espresso martini. Both were prepared to absolute perfection. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking — tender, juicy, and full of flavor — while the marrow bone added a rich, indulgent touch. The espresso martini was expertly balanced, making it a perfect complement to the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the attentive service ensured a memorable dining experience. Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, The Hussar Grill continues to deliver outstanding food and a great ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to Cape Town. Highly recommended!

The place has a very good atmosphere, true American style inside. The staff are very friendly, happy to help you with the choice, give all the explanations needed. On the other hand, the quality and preparation of food seems to be very average. They could make it much better for that price. Cesar salad has nothing to do with the original recipe, stakes are dry and not so tasty, as a result.

I will never get tired of coming to this place. The service is excellent. The waiting staff always go out of their way to make your dining experience enjoyable. The food is amazing. The lunch special is such value for money, you won't find another place that offers this quality of food at this price. Well done to all the staff.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so spoilt for our wedding anniversary. Even though we came for the date night special it felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was so great to have delicious food without complaints, my husband is a chef so he has high standards. The food was outstanding. Yolanda tended to our every need and Sibulele made sure we felt special with complimentary bubbles and an anniversary cheesecake. Our night was perfect. Thank you Hussar Grill Century City

Nice lady Dorothy took excellent care of me. The T-bone was grilled just the way I wanted it, and the sides were delicious. The extra onion rings added a touch of flavor. And a delicious glass of red wine, what more could you ask for? It was the perfect place to treat myself to dinner.

.. This is our first visit here but we were not disappointed in any way! The restaurant is well located, very spacious and pleasant-lii decorated. Our waitress for the night was “Yoli” who was very professional, pleasant and did a sterling job as well as being well informed with regard to the menu, etc, etc. We started off with their very well priced “Cocktails” a Mojito and Strawberry Daiquiri Our starters were 1. Squid and Chorizo 2. 6 x Garlic Snails which proved to be very good and delicious. Mains was 1. Grilled Kingklip , 2. Ribeye steak on the bone and Marrow bones . 3. Sirloin steak with Calamari strips. Meals were well presented and absolute-lii insidious-lii delicious prepared as one would expect it to be “Class-ii. We then noticed that they serve a “Chocolate Martini which turned out to be classic, decadent and a sweet taste-ii way to end a very pleasant enjoyable evening out here at The Hussar Grill Century City. We high-lii recommend a visit to this restaurant to savour class-ii foods. We will definitely be back soon in the future…

A trusted old favourite but first visit to this location. Jumped right to the top of my list. Food was as reliable as ever. Atmosphere was warm. Really like the layout of this location. But my highest praise must go to our server, Talent. She was just the right amount of attentive, knowledgeable and gave sound advice. She took notice of our likes and dislikes and then catered to these. She contributed to our very enjoyable evening with her great personality. Thank you Talent! And then, just a final thank you to Hussar. You don't get to be around for 60 years because you're average. The little extras are really appreciated! We will definitely be back!

Had an after work dinner with my Lil bro. Nearly didn't get a seat cause someone didn't bother booking... it's me, I'm that someone! Luckily one of the women sorted us out. I'm reeeeally sorry I didn't get her name to post here. The steaks were pretty good, juicy and flavourful. I always go basic, salt, pepper and that's it. Not everyone pills it off. The creme brulee was pretty decent too. I'm still hunting for the best creme brulee in Cape Town.
